I’m focused on helping organizations navigate the design challenges of emerging mediums and emergent ideas. I use a flexible toolkit of deep research, thoughtful facilitation, and incisive strategy to help teams and organizations traverse these moments of ambiguity with confidence. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some great minds from Meta Immersive Learning, BBC Interactive, National Geographic’s Impact Story Lab, Schneider Electric, The Museum of Art & Photography Bangalore, UNIT9, The Center of Self, Framework, Brown Multimedia Labs, and Ivy Film Festival.
My approach to projects flexes to suit the needs of the medium, and I have worked comfortably across digital, experiential, and spatial design projects. With a background in Cognitive Neuroscience, my approach is grounded in a deep commitment to understanding the intricacies of the human experience and ensuring those insights make their way into design decisions. The experiences I’m particularly excited about bringing into the world are ones that restore our sense of embodiment, interconnection, and focused attention. These themes are areas of ongoing inquiry, and you can get a deeper sense of how I see them intersecting with design in my Writing. I also keep a running catalogue of others’ thoughts I’ve found formative in my Influences, which I maintain both for my own reference and as an open directory for anyone who’s keen to dive into the themes I’m exploring.

*In an effort to move from anthropocene to symbiocene, I’ve become curious about design frameworks that serve and deepen our connection with the more-than-human world. Towards this end, I explore ways of putting this idea into practice alongside some designers, scientists, artists, etc. across Brooklyn and the Bay Area.
